The Mish Mash of desired fate: Education of Doctor Who power - With Holli and Chelsea - Doctor Who and Autism The series

from Crohn's and Autism Awareness Advocate · host Mason Milne

Today I am joined with Holli and Chelsea who are both fantastic cosplayers of Donna Noble! It's a first time for a podcast for both but a very good experience with excitement and nerves!  Chelsea and Holli express how the connection to Donna Noble in Doctor Who and why it's so strong! We talk how characters can have a such an impact us in real life!  Each of us share our bullying stories while at school Holli and Chelsea share their stories which brings a tear to my eye. Holli got bullied by another student, while Chelsea got bullied by a teacher which is so upsetting. We say it's hard when you are bullied it really affects your mental health and when you tell a member of staff that could make the bullying worse. Chelsea was at a school where other people had different needs. We also talk how much it is hard to ask for help. It's a great space where we can all share our stories.  Chelsea started watching Doctor Who at the time she was getting bullied so Doctor Who Saved her she said. We cover a lot about bullying and education because we don't want people of future generations to go through what we did.  Such a good conversation and Doctor Who and Autism with Holli and Chelsea. Holli's favourite Doctor is Matt Smith The 11th Doctor and Chelsea's is the 10th Doctor!  quotes and favourite quotes by both Holli and Chelsea are below... Holli - "I will not forget one line of this, I'll always remember when the Doctor was me" Matt Smith's speech  Chelsea - "If you see a blue box in the sky shout for me Gramps" From Donna Noble to Wilfred Mott  A quote Chelsea has related to and helped her since 2014 is... By Rose Tyler - "You don't just give up you don't let things happen, you make it a stand. say no you have the guts to do what's right when everyone else just runs away" Thank you Holli and Chelsea, this episode is truly worth a watch!  Thank you again!
