The Mission of the Local Church (1 Peter 2:9-12)

In a world that often prizes individual spirituality and personal platforms, Scripture reminds us that God has chosen something wonderfully ordinary—and extraordinarily powerful—to advance His Kingdom: the local church. Last week, as we continued our "The Renewal of All Things" series in 1 Peter 2:9–12, we explored how God uses faithful, Gospel-centered communities to bear witness to Christ and bring renewal to the world around them. Together, we considered the unique mission of the local church, the vital necessity of true Christian community, and how everyday hospitality becomes a tangible expression of God's welcome and grace to a watching world.
