The Mist is a 2007 American science fiction horror film directed, written, and co-produced by Frank Darabont. Based on the 1980 novella of the same name by Stephen King, the film stars an ensemble cast of Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden, Laurie Holden, Andre Braugher and Toby Jones. The music for the film was composed by Mark Isham.
