This week we talk to legendary singer and Manchester icon Rowetta. First finding fame during the 'Madchester' scene, she has gone on to work with many music icons from Peter Hook to Paul Weller. Notably, she provided the vocals to 1989's house music mainstay 'Reach Out' by Sweet Mercy which went on to be sampled by Black Eyed Peas on the track 'Boom Boom Pow'. Most recently, she provided vocals on the EP 'Put on a Record Tommy' by Tom A.
