Today’s word of the day is ‘flamethrower’ as in Jacob Misiorowski as in Brewers as in torch as in speed as in velocity. He is doing things we’ve never seen in the game before. He holds the top 9 spots for fastest pitches by a starter since at least 2008. Just in awe of what he is doing. (9:00) Shohei Ohtani is just amazing. I just keep saying it. Another pitching outing where he goes seven innings and doesn’t allow a run. (15:50) The Yankees have a pitching problem. Max Fried got pulled from his start with an elbow issue. Say it ain’t so. He has been the most consistent pitcher for the Yankees over the last two seasons. This team cannot afford to lose someone like him. (22:30) The Marlins top prospect is hurt. Rob Snelling started just one game for the Marlins and now has a UCL problem. Uh oh. (27:31) The Cavaliers stole it from the Pistons. Just a meltdown by Detroit.
