The Model Prayer #1 - Our Father Who is in Heaven

Prayer is not a bargain with God. Performance, anxiety, or emotional force cannot earn His attention. Jesus teaches His disciples to approach God as their Father, knowing He already sees their needs. Christ's death and resurrection bring believers into God's family, and the Holy Spirit enables them to call Him Father. This Father is also the King in heaven, so believers can pray often and confidently, seeking His glory while trusting His support when He does not grant a request.
