The Model Prayer #3 - Thy Kingdom Come

A struggle over who rules begins in ordinary homes and reaches every human heart. Praying for God's kingdom means giving up self-rule and submitting every part of life to His good rule, even through hardship. Such submission rests on trusting God as Father, because Jesus accepted the Father's will in Gethsemane and went to the cross to save His people. His kingdom is not a burden.
