The monkey and the cat
from Jessica 高小可 Hosted by Jessica 高小可
A monkey and a cat once lived together in the same house, and both of them were mischievous. If something went missing in the house, their master could be sure that one of them had taken it. One day the two friends sat watching chestnuts roasting in the fireplace. "Those chestnuts smell very tasty," Monkey said. "Wouldn't they make a nice feast for us?" "Yes," replied Cat. "And what a good trick to play on our master! When he comes back to eat them, there won't be any left!"
