Send us Fan MailGROW  Greatness Reached over Oppression through Wisdom Mad DogHindset is 20/20Forgiveness is keyI was 10, just a kid when Momma met The Monster She had 3 kids already when she met the Monster, me and my 2 Brothers, then 1 by the Monster, the baby, her youngestTurned out he was married but he wouldn’t let my Momma goThe Monster looked like a normal human being except he had 2 fingers halfway cut off so it looked like The Monster was always giving you the Finger Sign 🎵 Monsters don’t always look scaryAnd even Monsters can change but for this Monster Change came too late, Forgiveness would come first..The Monster did so much to Us       💞💫💞💫💞💫💞They want me to Block it out Therefore, wipe it away, like it never happened to meBut it didIt happened to us,I Lived with an Ike Turner except he was worse He truly tried to kill usMy Momma was a Good WoMan who didn’t do nothing but work to try and take care of her kidsHe would always beat herIn front of whoever, back then it was still mid normal for this type of behavior but EJ was The Monsters nameFor years BeatingsPolice did next to nothing She tried to leave himShe tried to get on with her lifeShe even met another ManA Kind nice man who was nice to Us kidsHe shot him at my aunts house and We never saw him againThen he drove off with my Mother threatening to kill her is she ever tried to leave him againA Married ManOne day my Mother brought us home from my aunts house, He was waiting on the porch,Dressed up, when he dressed up thst meant bad news; he began in on her, no cell phones back then so he couldn’t call herHe went to the car to get his guns He thought we ran in the streets but Momma hid us in the weeds all around the houseI held my baby sister, Holding her mouth to keep her from making a soundI remember picking a grasshopper out of my shirt afterwards He would beat my brothers so, till I cried for themOnce, he beat me and sent me to schoolThis was in the 70’sMy mother got a call from the Teacher, he never whipped me againIt would be when I was 14 he turned the abuse again towards meThis was my Mother’s escape, he was sentenced to 4 years in prisonHe died shortly after his release from prison in a very ironic way;His own son shot himI was 18 then, I saw him before he diedFrom being shot He was paralyzed in the rehabilitation centerHis eyes were closed as Me and Momma went inShe walked up on one side of the bed and I on the otherAll of a Sudden, EJ’s eyes flew open and for the first time ever, I saw fear in His eyesIn my eyes Forgiveness, I’m sure in Momma’s tooWithout a word, Momma and I turned and leftto begin again our Journey to GROW💫💞Time has healedIt is DoneGreatness Reached over Oppression through Wisdom Yes we forgive, but we never forget or we are doomed to repeatBad memories can haunt you for ever if you let them       Release✨💝 God BlessLive, Love, Learn and GROW for Tomorrow💫💞www.GROWProgram.orgSupport the showLight Attracts Light: Good Energy Changing the WorldIn a world often consumed by division, fear, anger, and negativity, Light Attracts Light is a podcast dedicated to the power of Love, Wisdom, Compassion, and Positive Energy.
