Send us Fan MailOpera – We love singing: The monsters that we all created: Div@sWhen we like to say to ourselves that we have progressed so much, that humanity has reached not only a good development in technology, but also in human rights and many other stuff, we are leaving out something that is very obvious: those childish behaviors of a good number of singers (artists in general as well).How come that we find completely acceptable to call someone a divo or diva and take that as a license to do anything him pleases? From cancelling a given presentation, disdaining other singers and behaving like a child who wants everybody to wait until him/her feels in the mood for rehearsing. All those stories that people like for gossiping and pretending that his Opera star is just hilarious when what he/she really is is non-professional. Come on people, let’s make some progress and let’s start calling all that for what it really is: poor emotional intelligence and lack of professionalism.
