The Moonlit Road

Tonight, we shall explore another of Ambrose Bierce’s stories! This story is told from three points of view—in the form of statements. No single part has the complete story, but we can put together the complete picture using information from all three. A wife is brutally strangled to death in her bedroom; a ghost appears to two men on a moonlit road, one of whom runs screaming into the night, never to be seen again. This story is called “ The Moonlit Road”, and was written by Ambrose Bierce.
