The Mormon Vampire: Twilight Series
from Welcome To The Clusterf*ck! Hosted by Welcome To The Clusterf*ck!
In this stream, I break down how Twilight quietly reflects Mormon theology and cultural values—from eternal families and moral perfection to sexual restraint, abstinence, and the fantasy of godlike immortality. We’ll explore how Stephenie Meyer’s beliefs shaped the vampires, the romance, and why this franchise feels less gothic horror and more sanitized, eternal love story with very specific spiritual rules baked in.If you want it edgier, more academic, or more playful/snarky, I can tweak the tone fast.FOLLOW ME OVER ON SUBSTACK!Don't forget to check out the free content over at Substack and subscribe! https://melissadawnharris.substack.com/💀 Subscribe & hit the bell so you never miss a deep-dive into the occult, vampires, folklore, and the paranormal.SUPPORT THE SHOW BY BECOMING A PATRON ON PATREON:https://www.patreon.com/cw/OrderOfVelvetBite🔗 Connect with me:• YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@MelissaDawnHarris• Substack: https://melissadawnharris.substack.com• TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@orderofvelvetbite• Website: https://melissadawnharris.comSpotify: This is a public episode.
