TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Good morning everyone. Today I am going to read the article 10 out of the 11. I committed to myself. It's a short form writing, imedium.com and they have a publication called Coffee Times and the publication is accepted by article and they have published it.

So I am going to read that article for my lovely audience. Okay, the title is this. The most decidable quality to develop task-related skills. Nobody teaches you.

Yeah, this title seems to be a little, you know, giving you some curiosity. What is that? What is the decidable quality? Yes, I'm going to read my article for you.

I'm two days. Remember guys, this, these articles I wrote a few days back, they have to get published and then after they get published, then I create my podcast. So I want to understand the sequence and when I'm reading, okay, visualize. I'm two days ahead of the one month time that I gave myself to complete 11 short form writing and I have one more to write, including this piece.

I created drafts for both the articles and after sending my ninth article to the publishers today, I decided to stay focused to complete writing, editing and submit both my articles to the publishers today. And this was, I think last weekend, I know that. Yeah. In other words, as of today, I want to be done with submitting the 11 out of 11 short form writing articles that I committed to myself in article number one.

And I have given the link to the article in my current article. Okay, question. What did I let go of today? In order to stay committed to sending three articles to the publishers, I gave myself permission to let go of the need to do yoga f.o.y, which I call fountain of youth exercise.

This f.o.y I learned way back several years ago from from a YouTube video and I found value and I tested it. It is helping me. So it's called fountain of youth exercise. It's about five, I think f five exercises, which I do, which I've been doing consistently.

So what did I do? I let go of the need to do yoga f.o.y f.o.y and meditation at this time. I felt like a dishonest student initially that is the price one has to pay for being present to your true sensitive self routine. At the same time, maybe it is because I've trained myself for self regulation and I have given a reference to an article about self regulation.

Please go ahead and read that. So let me read the sentence once again. At the same time, maybe it is because I've trained myself for self regulation, difference one. I don't feel that I'm pressured after letting go of the need to exercise or do the yoga or meditation at this time.

There are several articles and resources about self regulation. Here is the definition that I found simple and easy to understand. The best part is that I'm able to put it into practice in my life. What is self regulation?

The ability to self regulate has been viewed as a desirable quality throughout the history because of its positive effects on behavior. And the acquisition of skills. I've quoted the scientist name and data publication, whatever. The appeal of self regulation and its positive effects on behavior and educational outcomes has prompted much research in this area.

Self regulation refers to the self directive process through which learners transform their mental abilities into task related skills. There is a quote for Zimmerman 2001. Remember, I'm going to read this again. Self regulation refers to the self directive process you direct yourself through which learners transform.

I'm a lifelong learner and I want to transform my mental ability. So learners transform their mental abilities into task related skills, task related skills. Not just, okay, you know this, know this, know this. But then if it is not transformed into task-related skills, that is not where you're demonstrating your self regulation.

Okay, this is the method or procedure that learners use to manage and organize their thoughts and convert them into skills used for learning. Self regulation is the process of continuously monitoring progress towards a goal, checking outcomes and redirecting unsuccessful efforts. Again, there's a reference to work 2003. In order for students to be self-regulated, they need to be aware of their own thought process and be motivated to actively participate in their own learning process.

Then I'll give the article linked to self-regulation. What is the self-directive process through which I transformed my mental abilities into task related skills as of this writing? When I'm writing this, how did I use this? How did I manage and organize my thoughts and convert them into skills?

I chose to think towards my goal of completing the last three articles and I'm already in the fag end of writing my penultimate article, which is this one. I'm no longer feeling like a dishonest student that I felt initially when I let go of doing meditation yoga and FOI. For not doing my routine tasks of doing yoga, meditation and FOI, I have redirected my initial thought of not completing 11 articles in time to learning and using consciously a new skill of letting go, productively, letting go, productively. That's the key word.

I feel more confident and true to myself for going towards my goal of completing the last three articles today. I feel great and I'm filled with gratitude for my readers to help them learn about self-regulation and use it to their advantage. Please share how you use self-regulation to build up task related skills. Enjoy reading and until I meet you in my last 11th article, you have a fantastic day.
