"The Most Un-Woke, Woke Generation"

from Redefining Black Girl Peace · host Beverly Gill

In this episode, I’m talking about how we live in what might be the most woke yet un-woke culture ever. We love to call people out, but when it’s time to look in the mirror Suddenly, it’s everyone else’s fault. I get into how accountability has become something people avoid instead of embrace, and why being surrounded by people who can lovingly check you is so necessary for growth. I also share where I am in my own journey trying to find friendships that feel like home, that challenge me, and that don’t shy away from hard truths. This one’s about reflection, maturity, and learning to sit with the  uncomfortable parts of becoming better.
