The mother who avenged her 7-year-old daughter... in court! The story of Marianne Bachmeier...

Lübeck, Germany, March 6, 1981. Silence reigns in the courtroom. The benches are full. A man takes the stand, handcuffed. A few feet away, 30-year-old Marianne Bachmeier stares at him. In her bag: a small pistol. In a split second, she stands up, takes aim and fires. From that moment on, Marianne Bachmeier became a national figure, splitting the country in two, between those who supported her and those who condemned what she had done. But what was the reason behind her actions? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
