Brian Behrends speaks on what it means to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. He points us to how the text tells us WHO we are, rather than what we are supposed to DO. Ekklesia is not, nor will it be, a place that teaches us how to behave so that you can fit into a box that is presentable before Jesus. Our goal is to boldly proclaim the name of Jesus and talks about who we are in the light of who He is. If you believe Jesus is your savior, you ARE the salt and the light.
