The Multigenerational Household of God

Kathryn Hartley | Acts 4:34-37; Acts 9:26-30; Acts 11:22-26 — The language of the early church describes the church as family, as members together of God’s household. In the household of God we are all sons and daughters, but as a multigenerational family we also need Mothers and Fathers in the Kingdom - that is, mature people of faith who will intentionally invest in and embrace the privilege and responsibility of passing on faith to the next generation. Barnabas presents for us a beautiful example of what it looks like to disciple and walk alongside others in the context of being the multigenerational household of God.
