The Murder of Charles Poland AND The Hostage Crisis of Ethan Gilman

This week's episode is about the murder of Charles Poland.  Charles Poland was a school bus driver who died defending his kids in Midland City, Alabama.  Jim Dykes a local man, who had a friendly relationship with Poland created a turn around on his property for the bus because he had a difficult driveway to navigate. BUT he ulterior motives.  He stopped the bus one day, started chatting with Charles Poland and drew a gun.  He demanded two kids, or he would kill him.  Charles Poland said absolutely not.  So, Dykes killed him and abducted 5-year-old Ethan Gilman, taking him hostage in a bunker on his property.  The negotiation to free Ethan that followed was JUST WILD.
