The Murder of Stephanie Scott

Stephanie Scott, a 26-year-old high school teacher from Leeton, Australia, was tragically murdered by school cleaner Vincent Stanford just six days before her planned wedding in April 2015. Stanford ambushed Scott at the school while she was preparing lesson materials, subsequently raping and killing her before burning her body in Cocopara National Park. The perpetrator was ultimately sentenced to life in prison after investigators discovered forensic evidence and incriminating photos of the crime at his residence, while his twin brother, Marcus, was also jailed for assisting in the disposal of evidence.
