Hold on to your bonnets! This episode of the Pride and Prejudice Book Club might give you whiplash. On the one hand, both Emilie and Alicia really enjoyed this modern (GASP!) variation by a very talented author. On the other hand, there are...ethical questions. So. Many. Questions! We won't dive into it here, but suffice it to say that a good chunk of this episode is devoted to those questions, and how power dynamics matter (no matter what the setting).  Do changing social standards impact how you read and enjoy variations?
