The Mustard Seed and the Leaven

Matthew 13:31-33  The Kingdom of Heaven is like a Muster Seed that a man sowed in a field. It’s the smallest of seeds, but when it grows it becomes the largest of all the plants in the garden, like a tree, so that even the birds come and make their nests in it branches. And the Kingdom of God is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened. Two applications of these parables for today:First , they are a reminder to us that we are special to God, and that He has a purpose for all of us. But what makes us special is NOT us. We are special because of God!Second, in God’s economy, even the smallest of thing have huge potential. So, never believe that what you have to offer isn’t important.
