The Mystery of Edwin Drood takes center stage at SLOC and the podcast studio

Stan and Shen kick off the 2026 podcast season with real talent - director Brian Clemente and actor Cameron Clarke Stevens, who present 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood' to the Schenectady Light Opera Company next week. A well-known fact was that it is a Charles Dickens novel that was left unfinished due to his death, but the playwright, Rupert Holmes, yes, that Rupert Holmes, was a shock to Stan. The addition of being an audience participation play also thrilled the co-hosts. The guests explain the show's background, premise, and their work bringing it together this month. They also provide lots of laughs, phenomenal examples of British accents, which Shenan fails at miserably.  The show is heading towards a new tag line for Stan, courtesy of Cameron Clarke Stevens - so stay tuned.
