Show Notes:In this episode of Restoring Aliveness, i’m delving into the common misconception that so many humans on a healing journey fall into; the idea that they have to feel ‘safe’ before they take the action that they truly desire to take. This idea isn’t always conscious. It doesn’t always speak in a loud voice, but it lingers in our being and serves to keep us on a path of ‘when this, then that’. It keeps us living a story that says we need to continually process our past before we can live our vision, and in this, we stay in stasis whilst we keep waiting to be healed ‘enough’. I’m offering you a powerful alternative to this that I hope will become your mantra moving forwards. In this episode I am bringing my deeply loving big sister energy to challenge you to stop waiting for the perfect sense of readiness and instead, to ground yourself in the potential of the present moment and unleash your innate courage to take steps towards your heart’s longings. 00:00 Understanding the Nuances of Feeling Safe01:40 The Difference Between Unsafe and Uncomfortable03:13 Challenging the Story of Unsafety07:08 Finding Safety in the Doing09:31 Stop Waiting and Take ActionThank you for tuning in to Restoring Aliveness.
