The Nap Hour - TaLissa Patrick Full-time Aunty

We have our second special guest, TaLissa on the podcast to discuss her role as a "full-time aunty" or more broadly a familial guardian. Lisa has five nieces and one nephew that she has helped raise along with her sisters, and cherishes every moment she gets to be a pivotal part of their lives. Sharing her struggles and triumphs of being a guardian, Lisa believes that the relationship she has with her sisters, along with the the respect they have for her input truly makes the old adage: "it takes a village" all that more precious. But more than anything, she wishes that her contributions allow her nieces and nephew to find comfort in knowing she spoke life into them through it all.
