The narrow road of non-judgement

from Daily Picture · host Stephanie Hawkins

I saw a narrow straight road of non-judgement stretching out into the distance, with one person running along it. There were 2 thick lines of people thronging both sides of the road, not touching the lone running person. That person represents us as we are the only one who is responsible for how we run our individual race in life. Yes, there can be another picture of us being supported by God or others but this picture is about our personal responsibility not to judge. The throngs of people represent either those people who we are tempted to judge as we think we know better than them or, on the other side, those whose judgement of us we let negatively impact us. Remember, 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear". It is a tough narrow road of non-judgement but we can walk it with the Holy Spirit directing us.
