The Nature & Necessity of the Priesthood of Christ - TFOL #11

This morning's devotional is from "The Fountain of Life" by John Flavel as we look at the 11th sermon based on Hebrews 9:23: "It was therefore necessary that the patterns of these things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these". Here Flavel uses the necessity of OT sacrifices which pointed forward to the necessity of the blood of Jesus Christ for the true forgiveness of our sins. He opens up the general nature of Christ's Priesthood, and why He is the only one who can bring salvation to those who believe. May your heart be warmed in our Precious Lamb.If you would like to follow along you can download a copy of the book for free from the following link: https://www.monergism.com/fountain-life-ebook.
