THE NBA IS BACK!

We are just under 4 and a half hours from the tip of the 2024-25 season... I came into work with a pep in my step... ready to say WELCOME to NBA Today presented by ESPN Bet! And then, as I was driving into work, this rained on our parade a little. According to our Shams Charania, Paul George and Joel Embiid are going to miss the season opener, Wednesday night. Paul George is recovering from a bone bruise in his knee, while Embiid will not play this week for injury management. Lets get to the party tonight. Starting with the defending champs, who will raise banner no. 18. There was a lot of player movement this off-season, but the Knicks made two huge deals acquiring Kal-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges. It does feel like Anthony Edwards is primed for a special season. But tonight, we are all watching and waiting for history.
