The New Christian Community (Church) Part 2

Today, Bishop Rodgers continues the series on the "Church" from Acts 2:42. Apostles were to be the teachers of the church. But before they could do it, they had to fellowship with the people in order to teach them and make them disciples. The duties of the disciples were to learn from the apostles and to abide by their instructions. All Christians should have the same hope in heaven, the same joys, the same hatred of sin and the same enemies to contend with. The Lord's Supper "Breaking of Bread" is the fellowship meal the Christian community celebrates in the conjunction with its celebration of the Lord's Supper. Prayer is another way we worship. Prayer brings us into an intimate fellowship & presence of God and we must believed we have received what we prayed for.
