THE NEW EDITION STORY (2017) Part 2 Reaction! | So Much DRAMA!!

Achara and Michael react to The New Edition Story, the hit BET biographical miniseries charting the rise, turbulent inner dynamics, and enduring legacy of iconic R&B group New Edition. The series follows five kids from the Roxbury projects of Boston—Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe—later joined by Johnny Gill, as they navigate predatory record deals, intense member rivalries, solo breakout success, and the heavy price of fame. Directed by Chris Robinson (ATL, Beats, Star, Black-ish, The Wiz Live!) and written by Abdul Williams (Lottery Ticket, The Bobby Brown Story, Salt-N-Pepa), the acclaimed biopic features a star-studded ensemble cast. The adult line-up stars Woody McClain (Power Book II: Ghost, The Bobby Brown Story, Mindhunter, The Harder They Fall), Algee Smith (Euphoria, The Hate U Give, Judith, Detroit), Bryshere Y. Gray (Empire, Honey 4: Rise Up and Dance), Elijah Kelley (Hairspray, The Wiz Live!, Red Tails, Star), Keith Powers (The Perfect Find, Straight Outta Compton, What/If, Famous in Love), and Luke James (The Chi, Insecure, Star, Little). The project also features standout performances from Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things, The Book of Clarence, Concrete Cowboy), Wood Harris (The Wire, Creed, Remember the Titans, Paid in Full), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community, Drake & Josh, Avengers: Endgame), and La La Anthony (Power, BMF, You People). ___________________ We've got merch!
