Namaskar,This podcast discusses our article “The New Warfront: China's Global Psychological Warfare from Doklam to TikTok”, wherein we discuss how Chinese Propaganda machinery works both internally as well as externally. What are its various tools and propaganda outlets. We dissect it thread bare on how the well oiled machinery of CCP and the PLA target adversaries with incessant psychological warfare having an undertone of hybrid warfare. In this podcast we examine few instance where Chinese deployed information blitz against India, first in Doklam Crisis in 2017 & later in Eastern Ladakh sector standoff from 2020 to 2024. Ultimately, India got better of the Chinese propaganda and China was ultimately forced to retreat in both the standoffs. We examine how democracies like India & USA are getting targeted by Chinese disinformation campaign using digital sphere like TikTok and how they could counter it.
