The New World

Nerd Escape explores the Image comic book title The New World from writer Ales Kot, artist Tradd Moore, colorist Heather Moore, letterer Clayton Cowles, and designer Tom Muller. The New World is a dystopian post-life nuclear war setting that leaves the New California territory as a police state where the cops are huge TV celebrities that kill or capture alive their warrant arrest perpetrators based on how citizens vote by watching on television. The art work and story telling gives ground to a colorful and intricate love story between a highly ranked LAPD prime time TV cop (Stella Maris) and a local straight edge white hat guerrilla system hacker (Kirby). Nerd Escape hosts Jublar and Cami ask the question, "Do opposite attract and do they work out?". Credit to Karl Casey @whitebataudio for his stellar music track Hackers
