Volume 2 continues the journey I began in my first work, where I explored the evolving landscape of disaster response and leadership. That foundation was about connecting lived experience with the principles of service and resilience. In this second volume, I shift the lens toward the future specifically, how academic research and the integration of artificial intelligence can redefine learning, leadership, and crisis management. My path from foster youth to military leader, and now to educator and researcher, has given me a perspective rooted in both practice and scholarship. In the classroom and in my writing, I have found that the most enduring lessons do not come from authority, but from curiosity asking how we can do better, build smarter systems, and prepare for the unknown. That spirit of inquiry drives this book.Artificial intelligence, once seen as a distant frontier, is now central to how we think about knowledge, decision-making, and education. In my research and teaching, I have seen firsthand how AI can help us understand complex data, accelerate problem-solving, and create personalized pathways for students and practitioners alike.
