The Nice Guys

Welcome! Come one in to Josey´s Cafe! Come hear us talk about the Classics! We have an enormous list of classic movies and tv shows that we enjoy, including some forgotten ones. We are looking backwards and rummaging through old stuff, along with some that we feel are instant classics. On this episode we talk about: The Nice Guys Starring: Russell Crow and Ryan Gosling Its a Neo-Noir film set in the 70´s, full of witty humor, mystery, and action. Written and Directed by Shane Black The guy is known for: Lethal Weapon and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: he brings back the buddy cop movie, giving us a refreshing take on the genre. Anthony Begarozzi also gets a writing credit on this movie, that takes you far away from our costumed heroes and into a dark shadowy world filled with all the classic Noir troupes, blurring the lines between right and wrong, as we follow our flawed heroes down a rabbit hole slowly unweaving the lies, deceit and corruption every step of the way. Bob and I talk a little about The Nice Guys and mostly complain about today´s ridiculous movies. If you haven´t seen The Nice Guys, check it out! It will be a refreshing movie. Call it a diamond in the ruff. I feel its a modern classic, and thats why we are talking about it today. Check it out! Tell us what you think!
