On the evening of the 30th of October 1938, puffs of green gas were seen erupting at regular intervals by astronomers from the planet Mars and that something was headed on its way toward earth.The unusual activity was reported live on the radio to over a million listeners.Once the unidentified flying object had reached our planet, it crash landed in the nowhere town of Grover's Mill New Jersey.What was seemingly a meteorite, was inhabited and what was inside was proving to be decidedly hostile.Radio listeners heard eerie reports from live at the scene and when the Martians started to move, using a deadly heat ray which set anything it touched aflame, the broadcast went silent.Those hearing the broadcast fearing for their lives fled their homes, called their loved ones and police stations received droves of enquiries asking what to do.
