The Nightmare Before Gnarmas
from The Pod Charles Cinecast Hosted by The Prince Charles Cinema
This week on The Pod Charles Cinecast, presented by The Prince Charles Cinema, our hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas pull out all the Halloween decorations from the basement of the cinema, and plaster them all over the place to confuse the jolly cinema goers coming in for their Christmas cheer. It's week two of NAUGHTY or NICE, and our Patreon backers were given the choice between two films from 1993 – THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (Naughty) or LOOK WHO'S TALKING NOW (Nice). Of course, our listeners hate us, and don't want to hear us wax lyrical about talking dogs, so we are forced to discuss every goth kid's favourite childhood movie. What's this? It's the Tim Burton produced, and Henry Selick directed THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS! Join us, as we dive into the beloved stop-motion musical fantasy, that blends Halloween with Christmas, and climbed its way up through the bowels of Disney as the red-headed stepchild to become a favourite son, all thanks to the lovely folks at Hot Topic. "Forgive me, Mr. Claus. I'm afraid I've made a terrible mess of your holiday." If you enjoy the podcast, leave a Rating and Review! It really helps us out!
