The Nisse

In Scandinavian folklore, every farm has a Nisse — a tiny, ancient guardian who keeps the animals safe and the barn running smoothly. All he asks for in return is one small bowl of porridge on Christmas Eve. But this year, the family forgets. And the Nisse does not take forgetting lightly. What unfolds in the snowy barn that night is part mischief, part magic, and part gentle reminder that some things and some helpers should never be taken for granted.
