The Normalization of Violence
from Try Not To Overthink It · host Try Not to Overthink It
Violence in today’s society has become ever more common. In years past an act of violence would draw massive attention, but now it has become so common that people are no longer stunned by violence covered by the media. It seems like every day we wake up to someone passing away tragically as a result of violence of some kind. This is unacceptable because each life is precious and is irreplaceable, and society should never accept violence or the loss of innocent lives. Our hope is that our listeners will get something from this deep, honest, and real conversation from the viewpoint of both a Licensed Professional Counselors and a Licensed Social Worker.
