In the dead of night, as people sleep, that's when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three, dark things take power. We like to call it the supernatural hour. And now, our hosts.
And welcome. We are back to another episode. Well, I guess technically this isn't another episode. How are we back to another episode?
You're right. We're back. This is the first episode. Welcome to the supernatural hour, the first episode of the new show, featuring our all new cast of the same cast of the old show.
So I am your host, Castle. Across me, we have our other host, Beaker. What's happening? Our team is we like, sometimes call him.
We've got silent Don. Hello. We've got quiet talker, Deann. Yes, see.
And tonight, Lurch is not with us because he is taking a test because he seems to think the higher education is more important than podcasting. And we are also missing peaches tonight. We will catch them on future episodes at some other time to be decided at some other time. Where that was awkward at all.
The hell's the matter with you? I don't know, man. It's like you're it's like you've never done this before. It's because I get him on the head a lot when he was little.
I'm not nervous at all. That's how it's coming across that. It's like, oh my god, it's a new show. What do I do?
It's the same show. We're talking about stuff. Good ghost. There's ghosts.
So tonight's episode, we've got a couple topics that we have set aside. But before we talk about our topics, let's talk a little bit about some upcoming stuff that we have around the corner. May 26th, we have got an investigation going on at Benson Grissno. Tickets are on sale.
You can get those at advancedmarinomal.com. And we will be there. We being myself, Beaker. No, we can't confirm that for sure because you know how my work likes to throw on that unnecessary forced overtime last minute.
That's true. Beaker has this job that calls him with like 5-5 and goes, hey, we've got forced overtime at 6am. We will see you there. Which sounds like a hell of a way to work, by the way.
That's not exactly how it goes down, but that's how it feels like. Yeah, in fact, I've kind of lost tally. How many investigations have you missed or been late to because of forced mandatory surprise over time? Uh, investigations?
Probably like six or seven concerts and other stuff? A lot of that too. Yeah, that's a surprise over time. I think I worked a total of about 52 Saturdays last year.
I worked maybe 30 of them. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. All right, so Benson Grissno.
May 26th, the ticket prices are there. They are reasonable. We expect to see everybody at Unsinger Smill. It should be a lot of fun.
And it's one of my favorites. The speaker's got a shitty grin on his face and I don't know why. The ticket prices are there. They are there and they are reasonable.
So go buy them right now or I'm going to send Tim to your house to come sit on your couch and play a buy a ticket. Make sure you have Cheetos. Lots. That might be there a while.
Lots and lots of Cheetos. All right, so Tim, beaker. Yo. Yesterday you went to a convention where they sold rocks and crystals.
I went to the Empower You convention yesterday. It was the 13th annual Empower You convention. That's really cool. There's a lot of psychic mediums there.
Crystal healers and whatnot. And I was actually there with the Utah Medium, Sean and Michelle Newman helping them sell their crystals. And what I found fascinating is in the middle of the event, some random lady came up to me and she's like, hey, I need to talk to you. And she pulled me aside.
And she's like, you're focusing on the wrong gifts. You're trying to develop somebody else's gift and not your own gift. And I'm like, oh really? So it's a random lady?
Just some random lady had no idea if she was. You just said you need to develop another gift. The gift of doing my yard worked every Saturday when you're not enforced over time. She just randomly came up to me and she's like, you need to work on your gift.
And walked me over to Booth that had a bunch of people that were experienced with Crystal healing. And I kind of started talking to those people and they're like, oh, well, you should talk to this person and they gave me her business card and showed me that she was actually at a different event that was just right around the corner. And I've been told by a couple different people that's kind of what my main gift is with crystals. And I'm supposed to do crystal healing and stuff like that.
And I agree like this lady I've never met. There's other gifts that I've been trying to develop first, even though everything keeps pushing me towards crystals. And the fact this lady was able to pick up on that and knew exactly who I needed to go talk to. It was kind of interesting.
I ended up leaving the event to go to the other one to talk to that lady. And this is where I bought, I have this little red skull now that has a spirit that was attached to it, which I was able to pick up on right away. So I picked up the crystal. There's a spirit from India that's attached to this from the 1400s that apparently is supposed to help teach me how to do crystal healing.
Oh, interesting. And like I said, this lady just came up out of nowhere and she's like, yeah, this is what you need to work on. You need to work on crystals. And I'm just like, okay.
And then she explained to me later that she's also gifted, but her gift is helping people realize and achieve their gifts. My gift is gifts. My gift is the gift of gifts. Which is actually kind of cool.
I mean, the fact that this lady I've never met before knew exactly like what I needed to focus on. Not just like I was on the wrong gift. She knew exactly what I needed to work on and that was crystals. So who was this lady?
I have no idea. Did you go get her business card or? No, she was an inventor. She was a customer just to take it all the way to the event.
Oh, it's fascinating. I was going to say that'd be someone who'd be interesting to connect with, but. She's some random lady that was there for the event. Baker, you had one job to find out who this lady is.
One job. I do have a business card for another lady that I think would be possibly a good guest for the show. I actually paid for a reading for Paul Welch who stopped by. I'm just like, I have a feeling this lady didn't tell you something.
So I went and sat him down with her and she gave him a reading. I was funny. I was like, while she was doing this reading, I got a message from Caden. And he said, there's a medium where you're at that's either near you or you're drawn to.
You're going to fill this drawer to her or to them. You need to go up to him and ask him to tell him that you have a question that you can't ask out loud. You just need a guess or no answer. And so I went back to the lady when she was not talking to Paul and I explained it to her.
I'm like, I've got a question. I need to ask you, but I can't say it out loud. Well, I started with, I'm like, this is going to sound really weird. And I explained it to her and she's like, well, are you ever going to tell me the question?
And I'm like, well, I might after I get the answer and she's like, well, what I'm getting now is yes. And then I go, OK, and then I told her with the question was, which I'm not going to mention right now. I'll tell you off after the show's over. But I have a sneaking suspicion.
I know what it is. But we'll discuss it after the show. Well, it was funny as I was over telling Michelle about this. I didn't tell her the question was either, but she got the same answer.
She got the yes. And then me being the stubborn ass that I am started asking my pendulum, the apparently the spirit that was attached to my skull. And he also said, yes. So I got three different guesses from three different people.
And yes, so basically this is it's going to happen. And it's going to be exciting. On that note, I have been asked by cadence as I was talking to him yesterday. He plans on making a trip back here out to Salt Lake.
Fantastic. And he wants to do a group reading. So we're going to be working. I'm going to be working with Cadence and trying to set that up.
As soon as we get the details figured out, we will let people know. So you can come by and get a group reading done with Cadence. Yeah, in fact, keep your eye on AdvancedPernormal.com or AdvancedPernormal Services. Because not only do we have upcoming ghost hunts, you're going to start seeing classes up there on how to ghost hunt.
We're going to start doing presentations on evidence we've collected and talk about stories about our ghost hunts. We will have group readings. There's going to be a lot of cool things going on at AdvancedPernormal Services. So check back there frequently as we'll start listing those events as we have them.
I know that probably early June, we're going to do a presentation for a certain, I do know that. So keep your eye on that site. So anything else for us, Tim? Nope.
Anything for us, Dan? No, I'm good. Silent Dawn's just not a math thing, something, he's minding. I have a little thing.
Cadence had a busy night last night because I was sitting on the couch watching TV and I get a text running when he says, how's your new thing? And I texted back, huh? That's dirty. I know, I was just thinking, that's how dirty jokes go on with that.
I kind of was stunned. I was trying to go with, which one do I go with? What's your sister? You made Castle speechless.
That's hard to do. No, no. You don't make dirty jokes like that. You went there, not me.
That's my job. Asking some questions of, huh, what are you talking about? Apparently I have a new house guest at the Fino. So we weren't sure if it was an attachment or no.
Apparently it's no. Tell us more about this house guest. I don't really know if you know everything I know. You totally deend us on that one.
So... I'm not a ghost. Okay, moving on. Okay, so now I got four.
I do know she's about my height, a little heavier than me. Dark eyes. I believe she said she had dark hair. He's still trying to figure out a little bit about her.
I can tell you she's not evil or grumpy because Emmett would not let her in the house if she were. She's a pastor but she won't be there very long. Do we know how she got there? Good friend or...
No. There's a word slider. Tell us she's staying we're not sure of either but she's... It won't be long.
So now let me ask you Tim on your won't be long pastor by is that a Tim gift intuition? No, it's a guess. Okay. That's not just a complete guess.
I don't think it's going to be long. I think it's just a pastor body. Okay, fair enough. I was just curious on that.
So tonight's topic if nobody has anything else is well we actually have two topics. The height of the hut. Tonight we're going to talk pizza and our favorite pizza toppings. Space balls.
Followed by our favorite. Mel Brooks films. 80 Mel Brooks films. No, we are going to talk tonight about gin.
And I know we've talked about gin briefly in a past episode but I think we're going to do a lot more depth in detail tonight. And we're talking about like the you know agent like genie type gin's not the liquor. Yeah. A cotton gin turning turning cotton into gin faster than I've ever done before.
Spirits too though. This is true. That's my kind of spirits. It's a rungum.
And we are also going to be talking about leylines which Deanna's going to be our leyline expert which is fantastic because as we sat down to the research for the show I started to look into leylines and I immediately fell into a coma. Oh they're fascinating. You're just... And then gins yeah I found out about that like an hour ago.
Thanks for that. So leyline is like when you lay down the line. It's like when you lay down you wake up and like your face down you have like those lines on your face. Oh okay.
I just wasn't sure like if you get a group of people and kind of like the around the world like holding hands thing like if you just all lay down from head to toe. We are the one drinking coke. Now my favorite thing is make sure you research it so we don't we're talking about and then it's like oh and but we're talking about this it's like okay. Oh that's okay.
The gin thing was my idea so I've been I'd already been looking into that. So we will start tonight with gin and as per our new show format we will be doing some paranormal articles near the end of the show. They may or may not be fun. We'll find out.
Mine's super fun. Mine's super fun and it's going to involve Scotland because Scotland is fun. I got Scotland last time so see we're just carrying on the condition. When I saw this I thought it's a perfect story for the podcast.
So I figured we'd go. Maybe should talk about the whole thing in the Scottish accent. Please don't. If you don't want me to talk about things in the Scottish accent send $10 a piece.
Oh I thought we should raise our hand. That's what I'm doing. No I was going to say go to nations to Tim at wisp.org. Exactly.
Make sure to change that email forwarding so it goes all straight to Casa. I think I'd email all their stuff to you if they want. I just want the money. Alright so let's talk to Jen and Tim let's have you leave this discussion.
So one, two, three go. Okay so basically what a gen is is it's an ancient my notes are too far away. Hold on. They're ancient spiritual creatures in Islam and Arabic fork.
I are taught good English are hard. Hook up on x-work for me. Hook up on x-work for me. They're ancient spiritual creatures in Islam and Arabic folk.
Oh my good lord. Folk or yeah this. I think I'm being attacked by the gym right now. They're also known as genies.
And there's several types of genies and I wrote down some of what I thought were my favorite from reading their collage and went them all down. I wrote them all down. I saw you. I saw that and I wrote down those that I liked.
So the first one we started off was with the ghouls. You know that one actually fascinated me because ghouls are something that a lot of people know about ghouls. Maybe not all the nitty gritty details about ghouls but no one I didn't realize prior to this that ghouls were derived from gin. I thought they were kind of that kind of typical Halloween type creature.
I didn't realize that that's where they came from which is kind of interesting. I thought so as well. So this is like this is one of my favorite types of gin that was on the list and there are shape shifting. They're also kind of ballistic and blood drinking types of gin.
They feed on the flesh of humans. They specifically go after like travelers, children and stolen corpses from graves. I want to say I noticed that they tend to go after both corpses so they eat dead flesh but they also eat living flesh. In fact I thought it was kind of interesting they said that they're male and female but they mentioned that the female ones can often portray themselves as human.
Yeah that's actually the next one. It's actually the most fear type of ghoul. It's a female ghoul called the ghoula. If I'm pronouncing that correctly it's just basically ghoul with an A at the end of it.
But apparently they can appear as just a normal human woman and what they do is they marry unsuspecting men and then prey on those men. So basically like yeah it's like a praying man just basically like. Oh hi Tim you want some of this? Yes I do.
Pretty much. What happened to Tim? Oh he just got eaten by a ghoul. A ghoula.
Ghoula sorry. Thank you. I just want to make sure you guys were participating in the conversation by mispronouncing things. I don't participate if I've known about it a little earlier.
They're said to be nocturnal and they inhabit graveyard ruins in other lonely places. My basement is not that lonely because I'm there. I'm bringing that. You know I'm doing this because I'm bringing out a I can't remember his name.
What's the dogs in Mutley? Mutley is arrived to the show here. There's a little basement. You have to leave this in.
Like I didn't realize we were going to have special guest Mutley from the 1970s Hanna Barbeira cartoons which according to Chunkin no one knows about. But I know about Mutley. Yeah. I'm old.
Well I'm old-ish. Sound of Thomas remembers. Simon Thomas was there with him. J.M.K.
was assassinated. I don't remember that. He's a pretty steep but really premier. I'm pretty sure he was around for the building of the Winchester Mansion too.
That's why he knew so much about it on an episode. Okay sorry. We're not talking about the basement. Yeah.
We talked about the rules of ruins. Yeah apparently I live with Benson Grisvel in the basement of the ruins by myself. That's why I taught it is because I just sit there in the basement and I'm like about like 15 minutes long. Ooh.
This show is totally going so much better than I anticipated. You know I was actually I'm sure you noticed this. I was actually kind of from a bad mood when I got here. I'm not so.
You're actually watching the scary time of the minute too. Yeah so lonely places. So double as ruins. Goals have also been described as dead humans who sleep for long periods of time and when they awake we've already discussed this.
The teenagers. But they feast on the flesh of both living on the dead. So basically yeah teenagers. I love the reaction we're getting back here from D.M.
The actual teenagers. And he can't defend himself either because he doesn't have a microphone. This is awesome. I'm pretty sure someone's getting a pill out there on out of here soon.
So the next one that I have or the next one that you have on the list is the HINN which I found was very boring. All they do is make them social click animals. You know I was gonna say I saw the HINN and I thought yeah they look like dogs. Somebody saw an actual dog went it's a HINN.
It's a it's a it's a it's a it's a it's a it's definitely a G. I saw twitches nose. But okay if you're a Harry Potter fan in book three when Sirius Black spoiler alert if you ever had a man in your lane but spoiler alert. I don't think it's a spoiler this point in the book.
I'm like 20 years old. Hey I've got kids out right here. I got a spoiler to Bader is Luke's father. Luke, no I am your father spoiler alert Rosebud is a sled.
There are lame people that haven't read yet but they talk a lot about seeing a dog that foretells you know bad fortune and that's why when they saw Sirius was actually a shapeshifter if you read books and an amagas to be precise but even then I know but they before like they'd see the dog in the tea leaves and it's a thing. They called out the grim actually so that's kind of close to him. Exactly. I just want another dude who's sitting around and Johnny Arab land going to dog it's a him oh go on and the interesting thing is when I researched it basically said it's a gen that looks like a dog I mean there's literally.
Yeah that's so I kind of skip that one I'm like um it's a ghost dog it's a ghost dog. Yeah so if you want to you want to make sure friends with your amazing knowledge or time you see dog go it's a him your friend who looks like you're more on and they're probably right. It's true. The next one I thought was pretty cool and I've actually seen this featured in several video games like Final Fantasy 7 you've got the E-Freet.
You know what the E-Freet is kind of interesting and you can actually not guess I skipped on the list as I was getting prepared for some else but uh. No that's what's next on the list on your list and my list is. It is and that's why I was confused because I me read good. Well you read good and I talk good so we're good good.
What's interesting and I'll touch on this a little bit more. I don't know if any of you here at the table have read Robert Jordan's books at the Willtime series. I know that we do have a couple of Willtime fans who listen to this. But Robert Jordan he actually took mythology from various religions including Islam and used some of their creatures their mythology to make actual creatures in his book and there's a tribe of Trolax that are called the Freet which is kind of a play on a Freet.
But the Freet are basically winged, they've got fiery wings, they're referred to in the book of Solomon if I remember right. I think so they're also on the Koran. Right and that's what I meant. The Koran where it talks about they got quenchiba's throne for King Solomon or some of those things.
Yeah so like that but what I've got is they're very evil and they're very powerful and very difficult to control. They're noted for their strength and their cunning abilities. They're enormous winged creatures of fire that can be either male or female. They do live underground and frequent ruins and I've got the same information you got here that they actually lived in a structured society with kings and clans and tribes and stuff like that.
Which I think is really cool that I mean being that they are kind of like a kind of a demonic type thing they still have like a society that they follow. They say that they usually marry within themselves. They marry other Efreet's but they have been known to marry humans as well. It also said that like basically ordinary weapons and stuff that we have don't work against these but they are vulnerable to magic.
Basically it says that humans can use magic to kill or capture and enslave them. Efreet's can be good or evil but most likely they're depicted as wicked and ruthless. You know and that's the point I was going to bring up is that it mentioned in the research that they can be good but generally they're little bastards. Pretty much.
It was kind of a direct quote. It wasn't a direct quote but yeah I said they could be good but generally they are not. In fact most gin are not good but some are. What leads me to our next one what actually is good.
And why I got confused I thought this was the next one we're talking about. Nope the jam. I believe I thought I was pronounced as JANN so I'm going with jam. JANN.
Yeah watch their head spin. There's a story. She was nothing but good. Right?
No. Anyways so JANN were shapeshifters that lived in the desert and they take on the form of the whirlwinds or white canvas. Right. They're open minded by humans and actually we're among the first type of gin that were encountered by humans.
They have the power to. I thought this was actually kind of cool. So they can hide or reveal oasis on the desert and they do this depending on whether or not they like the group of travelers that are coming through. So basically like if we were coming through we'd be screwed.
Because it'd be like look at these guys we're going to hide the oasis. But you know if someone like. I like my tips. I think it's someone good.
Someone good. Someone not us. Yeah basically if they like the people that are coming through they'd show on the oasis. And if they didn't then you can find the oasis and you die in the desert.
Pretty much. Let's see what else I've got that they are actually enemies to the ghoul. Which is why they went like Tim because his ghoul alive would be one of the high noises. Pretty much.
One thing with the JANN. I thought it was really interesting is according to Islamic folklore they essentially have swayed battles. They basically if they like somebody if they feel the battles are righteous cause. They swayed the battle in the favor of that army.
Yeah they protected the armies that they felt were righteous. And armies they hated the ace. They impeded the ones that they felt were unworthy of their help. Right.
Which I thought was kind of interesting. Which I think is really cool too. The next one I have on the list we basically wrote down the same ones. Yeah.
I think we may have researched the same. I think we did but there were several that I skipped because they were just kind of lame. Oh I put them all in there. This is a week and a stupid minded gin that slicks your feet.
I skipped that one. Oh no we're definitely talking about that one. We can talk about that one. Oh yeah.
So the next one is the Marid or Marid. M-A-R-I-D. They're large and powerful JAN. They're the most powerful type of JAN.
Having special great powers and they're also the most proud type of JAN. If I read this right and correct me if I'm wrong. I skipped some of the stuff. I think these are the ones that basically are referred to in like Arabian nights.
I think these are basically the ones that you rub the lamp so to speak and you get your three wishes kind of stuff. Yes. Cause that's actually my notes here. They do have the free well.
They do have free well like most JAN do. But they can be compelled to perform chores and other things for you. They do have the ability to. Get the trash, JAN.
Yes. I need the dishes done. This would have been perfect for JAN's first marriage. They would have.
Yes. Yes. She could have used Marid to help her like clean the house. Or did you contaminate all the nuclear particles from your microwave?
Exactly. Oh not just from the microwave. I'm a car. They're also said to have the ability to grant wishes to mortals.
But this usually required some kind of battle or imprisonment or some kind of ritual. Or make it more wrestling to see who does dishes. Or a lot of flattery apparently. So I mean you could like you can fly to the shit out on the table.
Or any wishes. I prefer the battle. I want to fight for my wishes. Tim.
A lot of cooking oil. A tarp. And a wrestling match. Don't visualize that folks.
Don't burn out your cornies. Okay. To see the next on the list was. You know what the next one was the sheik.
S-I-Q-Q. Actually it was Nast, but I skipped that one. And then palace. Sheik was the right last one on there.
Yeah. And I kind of moved it around because the Nast makes more sense. If we talk about the sheik first. I don't really.
I thought the Nast Nast was boring. Sorry the sheik. But we're going to talk about both of them anyway. Because that's the way I roll.
Okay. They're on the paper. We're talking about them. Damn it.
All right. So the sheik are weak gin and they're monstrous and misshapen. And that's pretty much all there was in the research is that they're weak and misshapen. Which leads us to the Nast Nast.
Which are basically weak gin that look like malformed humans. Like silent non-ferencedents. Thanks. Thanks a lot.
Well I mean it wasn't for the help on your back. And the lazy eye. Which side? You take those glasses off and the eyes are like everywhere.
Like that one show. No basically the mythology is that the sheik and a human basically made a hybrid people that are Nast Nast. And I just thought they were talking about but basically the Nast Nast were described as having like one leg, one arm, half a head. Like as you're reading about them it's kind of like I don't know how that kind of being would even function or move around.
So I don't know. I thought they're kind of weird but I thought they were talking about. What do you got next? The palace.
You know I did want to talk about the palace and the palace would be a lot more fun to flirt with here. That was another one I thought was just like this is lame so I skipped it. Okay. This is the footlickers.
This is the footlickers. As it was referred to in the research it was the Vampiric Footlicker. Now it has low intelligence which I think anything that's a footlicker is going to have really low intelligence. So they're basically cats or dogs?
Dogs? Dogs are not that dumb. I don't know I've met some dumb cats. They can be easily outwitted and according to lore it attacks leading people and drains their blood by licking the soles of their feet.
So to combat this basically all you have to do is put your shoes on. Or show it lurchous feet. No, never forget. Whatever again.
Pretty much. But it says they can be outsmarted by two people sleeping end to end with the soles of their feet together. Or putting them under each other's heads. Or like you said wearing shoes.
I think they're protection feet. Yeah, I just back then like when this was a big thing. You don't really have shoes in the desert. Yeah, but I don't know about you but when I sleep I tend to move around a little bit.
And the whole like sleep with the soles of your feet together. Yeah, that last like 10 seconds. Besides like the sanitary issues involved there. I don't know.
You don't want to put your feet against mine while we sleep. I didn't have it as long as I went to bed. Yeah, I just seemed like a really weird one. I don't know who came up with this.
But I struggled with the Vampiric Footlicker gen but I thought it was strange enough that it was worth talking about. You're strange. What's the next one? So this one, the picture is actually really cool.
This is Chitan. This one's interesting. This is actually one I was kind of excited to talk about. And this goes back to when I talk about Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan.
He actually refers to his main primary bad guy in the series. It's a dark one. It's kind of a demonic being called Chiatan in his books. And it's spelled almost exactly the way this is.
Oh, Chaitan. Let's get the pronunciation here. Right. Chaitan.
Which sounds like Satan. Doesn't it? Which is funny because these are normally associated with demonic forces. And it's the Islamic version of the devil.
And it's known as Iblis or Chaitan. And it's considered a gen that refused about Adam. One of his primary traits is his hubris. And he has no power according to the tradition other than the power to cast evil suggestions into the chess of men and women.
And other gen. Right. Actually, which I think is kind of fascinating. I say it almost sounds like a different version of the Christian version of Satan essentially.
A lot of the same traits but maybe a little different play on him if you will. Like the whole refused about Adam and just being able to essentially tempt people in other demons for lack of better term. I do like this quote here where it says, we've made the evil ones friends only to those without faith. So basically these type of gen were mainly around people that were far from God.
Yeah. And I thought it was kind of interesting. Like I said, they made these gen to be friends to those who are basically sinners if you will. And which is kind of along the lines of Christian lore, what we've kind of experienced with the ghost hunting thing is that type three's tend to hang around those who have got issues or major issues in their life.
Now I believe there was one more. Did you want to talk about that one Tim? I don't even read about that one because there's only like two sentences here on this thing. It's the sea lat and they are expert shapeshifters and smart as the gin.
It says they can mimic human appearance with ease. That really like you said, I didn't give a whole lot more than that other than they're smart and they look like people. No, so it's funny is the reason why I wanted to kind of talk a little bit about gin is we actually had some of our mediums being attacked over the last week. We did.
And I was told that one of the things that was like kind of causing problems for the group was some kind of lustful elemental. And after what Al had seen at Family Tree, I just kind of did some research on like elementals that work with the newbies and somehow I got into gin. And I just thought that was kind of a neat correlation where I don't know if that's actually kind of what we're dealing right now is an actual gin, but just through my research, just kind of researching about a newbie and elementals and how they work together and getting the whole like getting on the topic of gin. Yeah, I was just saying it was interesting just to give kind of some brief insight into what it is we do.
And I don't know if we've talked about this before, but we do go to a lot of homes and we do with a lot of really dark stuff. And a lot of times before a major case, we start getting some issues with our mediums. Peaches, for instance, will lose periods of time where she can't remember stuff. And usually either from her phone or from her accounts, we start getting Latin messages.
I don't know if you saw that one on Facebook, P.M. That wasn't there very long though. It wasn't there very long. We took it down.
It went up as soon as soon as I start my phone started ringing up the hook. So did mine. And yes, I start having to make phone calls and make sure that the peaches is okay. I'm not working.
I'm like, I can't do anything right now. Yeah, so I was making phone calls. I made a phone call to the peaches. She was okay.
Tell me she lost some period of time. You probably know about the other text better than I do. Tim, do you want to talk about those just a little bit? I know Bee had an issue where she threw out her back doing something very simple that shouldn't have done that at all.
I think she was just picking just something small about the ground and she threw out her back. Caden, when I get a text message, like F this crap I'm done with everybody. I'm losing my phone and I'm talking back to you, I'm like, are you all right there bud? Yeah, you sent me a message that said, hey, touch base with Caden.
And so I did. I called him and ended up talking to him for a little while. It's kind of funny because I initially called him and I'm like, dude, are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine.
And I was in the middle of something like, okay, I want to make sure he's okay, okay. I hadn't seen the message that you saw. And so I hung up and now goes, that didn't tell me somebody who's okay. And then I proceeded to talk to him via text for a little bit and I think he got calmed down.
Yeah, he did. He started texting me after that as well. And it was just like, he's like, we thought it was Lucy. And it's still possible that that's who it is, or at least someone or something working with Lucy.
But it was basically trying to disrupt the lives of all three of our mediums. And it was kind of coming after you and I as well a little bit. Yeah, I say, usually when stuff like that happens, things start going rough, things that should go one way, don't, things that it gets. I don't know if you experienced anything, Jan, as far as.
No, I've got my new house guest. I don't know what her intentions are. But again, the way Emmett is if she had that intention, she wouldn't let her know. Okay, same as the word stuff usually happens to three mediums more than anything.
But yeah, so we could have that happen. Is there anything else that we want to talk about when relationship to Jim? Well, my favorite one was Rob Williams and Disney's Aladdin. It's just he, Fabulous, he, yeah, Leo Bob.
This is he Fabulous, he, Alio Bob. Wow. That's one of the cards against humanity cards. I love playing that one.
Bees. Bees. That's a question mark, son. Oh, I thought it was explanation.
No. Bees. That was Batman that has explanation. Bees is bees.
Oh, best card ever. That card wins all in. I love getting random text messages from Castle that just says bees. Yeah, that goes around frequently.
So we talked about Jan. Now, Jan, you came prepared to talk about ley lines. And I researched ley lines and I had a coma, but I didn't make some notes. But I'm going to let you start on ley lines and I will chime in with my notes.
So I thought ley lines were fascinating. The first time I really heard about ley lines would be on the Da Vinci code. If you've seen that movie, they talk a little bit about it, specifically one named the Rose Line. But the existence of these ley lines kind of came about in 1921, I believe.
I wrote 192 and I just peered it out. But it was by an amateur archaeologist named Alfred Watkins. And he started noticing straight lines between ancient sites in the UK. And if you think about it, you can make a straight line from anywhere to anywhere.
I mean, I can make a straight line from here to my house. I can make a straight line from, you know, you can make straight lines anywhere. But ley, spelled ley, means clearing. And most of the original ones that he noticed were visible.
If you got it pine up, you don't want to un-emound or something, you could see pathways. And so their energy highways and the thing that's the most fascinating thing about ley lines is if you have all these straight lines connecting these different things, along the ley lines are usually natural phenomenon. Like a really high mountain or a weird shaped, I mean like Shiprock, for example, who's going to be on the ley line. And there's also monuments, ancient cathedrals, the Stonehenge, the Pyramids of Giza, all these different things.
But then when these ley lines intersect, they usually intersect someplace where there's a big thing. I don't know if you've heard of Sedona, Arizona. It's supposedly full of these big vortexes. And let's see here.
You know, along these ley lines, it's kind of like latitude and longitude. But if you look at latitude and longitude, they're very evenly spaced. And you know, the ones go one way, they go the other way, and you can, you know, they're all the same spacing. Ley lines are all over the place.
There's not really any rhyme or reason to them. And there's a talking that's hard apparently today. Hey, I already covered that. Sorry.
You find your own thing. I'll find my own thing. I think I'll three of us now have been hit by that. I can't talk about it.
It's contagious. We're all trying to be like Silent Dawn. Yeah. There's just so much stuff.
I don't even know where to begin. I want to like, lay line vomit and just give it all to you at once. Castle pulled up a site about what's kind of naysaying it, which I didn't like. I don't know that a naysaying it.
It was just boring. Well, as far as ley lines are concerned, I don't know that I... Shut the Bobly Rishan. I don't like totally 100% believe it, but I don't not believe it anyway.
I'm intrigued and I really want them to be a thing. I guess I should say I'm the website. I actually have three or four websites. And I'll just kind of touch on these points really quick.
I'll let you get back into your lay line-ishness. Is that even a word? It is now. It's on a recorded podcast.
You're a lay line-ish-ness. Fish-ness. Hey, if you show your lay-ness-ness, you might get arrested and taken to jail for luteness. You promise?
Zip. So the one thing I noticed about lay-lines is often they can be associated with spiritual ways or death roads. They're often used in funerary rights. But for instance, it'd be crossroads.
I mean, you talk about Franklin who's seen the TV show Supernatural, which actually takes a lot of its stuff from actual lore and folklore. They talk about making deals with themons at crossroads, and they're saying that's part of lay lines. Yeah, and it says that the cross-scene is a lot, because cross-lines have always been associated with magic. I mean, even, again, I'm in reference, sorry, Potter, because I love it.
You see... A cross- Cross-streams. I know, right? Cross-streams, what does that mean?
You... Crossroads are also particularly notable as supernatural areas, and when lay-lines cross, they produce an energy vortex, which are particularly prone to strange phenomena. So, yeah, crossroads. As far as the straight lines in that, the same article that I looked at, that you just referenced about the spirits, I'm just going to read it.
And if anyone wants to read this, it was a fascinating website. It's called spookygeology.com. And it says, straight lines have supernatural significance. Paths that bodies were carried from town to a burial site were called Corpse Road, and associated with roots of spirits, which became Spirit Pass, which you were encouraged to avoid.
Spirits are said to have a preference for straight lines as are fairies, and you definitely want to stir away from fairies, something that something we can talk about later on, why you have to stir away? We don't discriminate. We don't discriminate here. I'm just saying what the article said.
But fairies grant magic wishes, don't they? Maybe they're dead. We're not talking about like, think about it, right? Correct.
When you wish upon a stall. So, the other thing I found interesting was in 1958, there's a French author named Amie Michel, who wrote a book called Flying Saucers and the Straight Line Mystery. And in this book, he talks about UFO sightings in France, and they occurred along all these invisible straight lines, and if you hook up all these invisible straight lines, they formed a perfect grid. Interesting.
Any other lines are there if they're invisible? Just based on the sightings, science, science, science. Hey, tell me you don't have to worry about science. It's all science, science.
But they're invisible. Now see, a couple other points I noticed, and I'll let you talk about these as well. One said that basically, if you take random chance, if you have enough anything, eventually you can make a grid from anything. So that was one attempt at debunking lay lines, is that basically you can attach enough points together to make a web or a net of things.
Right, and the lay lines, again, I'm not 100% on board of lay lines, but I do find them interesting. In part, I find them interesting because I love ruins and old things, and antiquities, and antiques, and so that, I think, lays to some of my, I thought the Da Vinci Code is one of the most fabulous movies ever, because just all the little hints and clues and puzzles, I love that. But the interesting thing, that I missed something. I just do it with you the term fairies, and then you just kind of went off there on a fabulous, and there's some...
I love that. The way you did it, I was just like, what the hell is going on? As a woman, it was completely acceptable, had Tim done that. It would have been weird.
I love it. No, I do. I love stuff like that. I love fairies and roses.
The thing I also found interesting was... Fabulous. It was first brought up by the English guy, it was second brought up by a French guy. Asian culture suggests that these monuments are placed along lay lines, so that they're sort of a geographical feng shui.
That was going to be one of my next points. Yeah, so you've got the Asian on board, there's enough different cultures that are jumping on board onto this. Native Americans in North America. It makes you want to be of all these different cultures anciently across the world that are kind of buying into the same thing.
There's got to be something there, and some people say it could just be magnetic fields. I've talked to some mediums who've talked about lay lines, I don't know either way. It's one of those things that I have to see some actual... some evidence of proof before I'm 100% on board.
