Toxic - poisonous, very harmful or unpleasant  in a pervasive or insidious  way (Oxford Dictionary). If you have ever been in any kind of toxic relationship, you know how difficult  it is to muster up the strength  to set boundaries and/or walk away from it. Walking away from toxic situations also requires you to heal; this  is necessary before moving on to a new relationship or opening yourself up to new relationships.  Today, I will share with you a little bit about my own experience with a toxic family member, in hopes that my own experience  may resonate  with some of you and hopefully  let you know that you are not alone, if you are suffering the emotional  and verbal abuse that comes along with toxic relationships.  You can always feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] if you are in need of a support system.
