Hello everyone! Thank you to Ashleigh for commissioning so much of this book, and I'm getting really into the storyline now. I'm getting so mad at the teachers for either falling for the shit Regin is putting out there about Sonea, or for turning a blind eye. I'm not sure just how complicit they are but I'm tempted to quantify it at "very". Dannyl, meanwhile, is out here standing up to some pirates who try and move on his ship, and I really understand his reasoning behind not killing them, but I still want to see some magic! He could have put some real fear into them, and I think it would be super satisfying. I'm really enjoying this book, and I am dying to see if Regin gets his at any point because even him teaming up against her with a bunch of other students, in the woods, and aggressively attacking her is apparently not enough for them to do much of anything.
