We all know about non player characters (NPCs) in video games. But what happens when you start seeing those same characteristics in people you pass by on the street? People doing odd, repetitive behaviors and repeating their actions and dialogue again and again... Would you assume we're in some sort of simulation? Or would you start to wonder whether something else is going on?
