On this week’s edition of ‘All Ball’ we reflect on the incredible career of Newcastle Knights legend Andrew Johns. We discuss his remarkable start to his career with the Knights, his leadership and key plays in those premiership winning teams, and how he was able to overcome injury struggles to have success at the representative level. Joey was a player who always gave his team a chance to win due to his incredible defence, passing and kicking game along with his unmatched leadership. He is deserving of his status as the 8th immortal as many look at him as the greatest to ever play Rugby League.In ‘the Match’ we pair up two club legends from the Parramatta Eels - Nathan Cayless and Nathan Hindmarsh, both dominant forwards who were great leaders. Cayless captained the Eels to a pair of grand final appearances and was also the captain of the New Zealand squad which won the 2008 World Cup. Hindy also had a very strong representative career as well as a staple of those great Parramatta teams in the 2000’s and being one of the few players in the 300-game club.
