The Nudge - Distractions - 10.01.16 & 10.02.16

This is week 2 in the series and we are going to focus on eliminating the distractions that keep us from hearing God’s voice and shutting out the competing noises that drowned out God’s voice. If we want to hear from God we must discipline our selves to create margin in our schedule and use that margin to position our hearts to hear Him. (more on that in a moment) Life immerses us in a myriad of human interactions, influences, and demands. Our schedules are bloated with work responsibilities, commitments to family, church, and community, and leisure activities—while the noises of civilization envelop us. Media messages by the thousands bombard us through electronic, visual, and print sources. How will we ever hear the whisper of God?
