The Nun II

In this episode of The Moviegoers Society, Sean Tajipour, the Mayor of Nerdtropolis, and Drew Munhausen, the Professional Media and Movie Mastermind, step back into The Conjuring Universe to break down The Nun II and the return of the terrifying demon Valak. Sean and Drew talk about how this sequel expands the lore, builds atmosphere, and delivers some genuinely creepy set pieces that lean into old-school horror tension. They discuss the performances, the connections to the larger Conjuring timeline, and whether this chapter raises the stakes for the franchise or plays it safe. They also dive into the scares that hit hardest, the visual style, and how Valak continues to stand out as one of the most unsettling villains in modern horror. Plus, they share their overall ranking within The Conjuring Universe and whether this is a must-watch for horror fans or just for franchise completists. 📽 Follow us on Letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/dmunhausen/ https://letterboxd.com/nerdtropolis/ 📲 Stay connected: Facebook: https://www.Facebook.com/nerdtropolis Instagram: https://www.Instagram.com/nerdtropolis Twitter: https://www.Twitter.com/nerdtropolis TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@nerdtropolis
