The Oded Yinon Plan: A Thorough Explanation Of The New Israeli Worldview (Part 1)

This will be a three part series where i will be reading, and giving brief explanations, on the Israeli policy paper entitled, "A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties", which was authored by Oded Yinon in 1982 a former Ariel Sharon policy advisor. Yinon asserts that the immediate aim of policy should be the dissolution of the military capabilities of Arab states east of Israel, while the primary long-term goal should work towards the formation of unique areas defined in terms of ethnonational and religious identities.[
