Your organization is awesome. But sometimes you want to be even awesomer! The Official Do Good Better Podcast is here to help!Sawyer Anderson started her own fundraiser, sold over 1,000 bags for charity and  wrote a book by age 10. BY. AGE. 10.  After learning about the tragedy many families are facing in simply obtaining water,  (now) 11-year-old Sawyer wanted to help. Shocked, she thought “this isn’t fair, every kid should have water.” Compelled to find a way to make a difference from her cozy, modern home in West Fargo, ND, she set out to raise $50.00 selling her grandma’s cookies at a garage sale. What followed was an inspiring story of hope and the innocence of a child who believed she could change one small part of the world.  Sawyer created a children’s book called “Water Works” to illustrate the challenges African villagers face in procuring clean water and to raise more money for additional wells. More About/Contact Sawyer: https://waterworkssea.com/Follow Sawyer's Mission on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/WaterWorksSEA/Follow Sawyer's Miss Pre Teen Flickertail Journey: https://www.ndinternationalpageants.org/miss-pre-teen-flickertail.htmlAbout The Official Do Good Better Podcast:Each episode features (fundraising expert, speaker, event creator and author) Patrick Kirby interviewing leaders and champions of small & medium nonprofits to share their successes, their impact, and what makes them a unicorn in a field of horses.
