The O'Hare Airport UFO – Hovering Over Chicago (2006)

In November 2006, multiple employees at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago reported seeing a dark, disc-shaped object hovering silently above one of the airport gates. Witnesses included baggage handlers, mechanics, supervisors, and other airline personnel who were familiar with normal aircraft operations. The object reportedly remained motionless for several minutes before suddenly accelerating straight upward at incredible speed, disappearing into the cloud layer. Moments later, witnesses observed a perfect circular hole in the clouds where the object had passed, allowing sunlight to shine through before the opening gradually closed. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) acknowledged receiving reports but did not conduct a formal investigation, suggesting the cloud opening may have been a natural atmospheric phenomenon known as a fallstreak hole. However, many witnesses insisted the hole appeared only after the object shot into the clouds.
