The Edmonton Oilers advanced to the Stanley Cup Final last night after beating the Dallas Stars 2-1. The Oilers were out shot heavily, but two goals on the powerplay in the first period from Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman was all the offence they needed. While the offence was there for 60 minutes, Stuart Skinner was fantastic for the Oilers stopping 34 of 35 shots. He was only beaten by Mason Marchment after a bounce of the back borders.Now, the Oilers take on the Florida Panthers with game 1 starting on Saturday in Fort Lauderdale. The Panthers are in the Stanley Cup Final after beating the New York Rangers in six games, ending it on Saturday night on home ice. Edmonton and Florida have faced each other twice this season with the Panthers taking both games.Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will break down everything that went down in game 6 of the Western Conference Final.
