The Oilers are losing again, and Connor Brown to be a healthy scratch

The Oilers find themselves in the midst of another losing streak that's growing in length, which meant there was a lot to talk about on this week's podcast. Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never.Kicking off the podcast, I got started with a look at Christmas. Seeing as the big day is coming up on Monday, I wanted to go over some of the strangest Christmas traditions that I could find on the Internet. If you're looking for new ideas to spice up your holiday season, then this segment could be for you. Turning the podcast back to the Oilers, I got started with the current three-game losing streak and how this team is back to looking like the one that lost all of those games earlier in the season. While the loss to Tampa Bay was frustrating but ultimately liveable, the same cannot be said about the last two against Florida and the New York Islanders. One of the most interesting items to come out of last night's loss to New York is that Kris Knoblauch is, once again, shifting up his line combos a little bit. The most notable change, however, has to be Connor Brown being healthy scratched in favour of Adam Erne. If you had told me that would be happening when Brown signed his deal back in July, I never would have believed you in a million years. Is the move fair? It's certainly easy to defend given Brown's struggles. Lastly, I wrapped up the episode with another Righteous Sack Beating and a fresh round of voicemails to get your take on everything that's been happening since last week's episode.
