The Oilers win streak is over, Silly Szn rumours, and Drake's big reveal

It's been a busy couple of days even though it's only been a couple of days since the voicemail edition of my podcast, and that meant there was plenty to get caught up on.Kicking off the new episode of Better Lait Than Never, I got started with a trending topic from Twitter that was making the rounds yesterday. Of course, I could only be talking about Drake. Maybe you might be reading this and thinking the Canadian rapper had new music come out, but you could not be further from the truth, even though he did have some fresh content hit the Internet.Turning the podcast back toward the Oilers, I touched on last night's loss to the Vegas Golden Knights and how it was a painful one despite the team playing well. Even though we all knew the Oilers weren't going to win out the rest of their schedule, having the streak ended by the Golden Knights was certainly a tough pill to swallow, especially when you consider that the boys played well. Way she goes, I suppose.The good news is that the Oilers are now on deck to start a new winning streak, and it all starts on Friday night against the Anaheim Ducks.
